Article directories are where free articles are housed. These articles are added to the directory typically by owner of the copyright to the articles. This is done as a way to promote the authors works. Each article includes the authors or owners bio. The bio is placed under the article so that when someone comes across the article and they read the article they will know who wrote the article (or at least who owns it) and they will then be able to contact or visit the authors website for further information.
Articles directories are a great way to make money. By using article directories, people who are interested in your product or service will be able to see your article. They will see you as an expert on the subject, and they will then visit your website. If you cannot write or do not have any experience in the subject area for which you are trying to promote (for example you are promoting a site on deit programs), you can hire a writer to research and document articles on various helth products and food secerts they do the work for you.
